TESTIMONIALS

TBC were recommended to me by our local NHS Primary Care Trust in 2009 as they had recently completed a building project for a local Medical Centre. Telford & Wrekin Council also confirmed their credibility as they were regularly contracted for work at local schools.

TBC were successful in tendering for a large project at Station House Dental Practice in 2009. The project was completed to an exceptional standard and won a regional award from the Federation of Master Builders.

Since then, TBC have completed a project for me on my house in Wolverhampton and a refurbishment of The Smile Centre Dental Practice in Shrewsbury.

My business has certainly benefitted from using TBC and they have shown that they are well capable of carrying out both large and small projects to the highest standard. I would highlight the fact they do adhere to time schedules and their aftercare is impeccable. It is reassuring to know that their tradesmen are familiar faces and that my employees are comfortable with them. May i add that our patients and staff have commented on their tidiness and politeness.

I have known and worked with TBC Building Contractors for 15 years (2015). TBC have undertaken a number of prestigious projects in which I have been involved through a number of Architectural companies.

I have always found TBC to be courteous, professional and very highly motivated, always keen to ensure the client receives the best service and finished product on time and on budget.

The company has an excellent management team and operative workforce. Their attention to detail, cost control and communication procedures are outstanding.

A recent project worthy of note is Bramble Ridge in Bridgnorth, which i was directly involved with at that time in my career. The contract value was agreed at circa £150,000 and completed in a timely manner. The contract was won by TBC under competitive tender and executed under a JCT Minor Works Contract. Although the project seemed straightforward, there was however some unexpected problems discovered during the build programme with the existing building fabric. These problems were easily overcome and dealt with by TBC with very little affect to the build programme, contract or value. This was clearly done by TBC’s professional and friendly approach to the project, demonstrated by their clear and concise communications procedure which resulted in the client being reassured and satisfied with the outcome, all of which was completed in an impressive final build quality and appearance.

I would highly recommend TBC Building Contractors on any building project because of their excellent reputation, management and construction skills.

We have worked with TBC on a number of different sized projects over recent years, the most recent being a large scale refurbishment of a grade 2 listed coach house. Given the age of the property, a number of challenges were presented which TBC helped us to resolve.

Everyone at TBC, including their preferred subcontractors, are considerate, friendly and ultimately true craftsmen, which not only helped our renovation experience but more importantly gave us a fabulous home.

We would have no hesitation in recommending them and wish you sucess on your own project.  If you would like to see some of their handy work, visit ‘thehousewiththeclock‘ on instagram.

TBC undertook a scheme of internal refurbishment works for ‘Shrewsbury Sixth Form College’ during the latter half of 2014, to the circulation areas of our largest building ‘Wakemen Hall’.

The works inclcuded: the alteration to and upgrading of partition walls, sanding and refinishing of woodblock floor, the installation of suspended ceilings & bulkheads, redecoration of walls and ceilings and the replacement of all internal doors.

Due to manufacturer issues (out of the control of ‘TBC’), the supply of the internal doors had to be phased, necessitating works to be undertaken after the scheduled completion date (at the end of summer break), but TBC worked with us to have doors installed ‘out of hours’ so as not to disrupt the day to day operation of the college. Due to a very short lead in time for the contractors before commencement of works, some areas of decoration were also undertaken past the scheduled completion date, but again ‘out of hours’ working was arranged to suit our organisation.

The works were completed to a high standard, snagging items identified were minimal and were undertaken quickly after completion.

I would have no hesitation in recommending ‘TBC’ and ‘Jon Morris’ (who project managed the works), to another organisation looking to have similar works undertaken.
